our history

It is no exaggeration to say that the Antica Salumeria Guarnieri is part of the history of Padua, entire generations have been customers of this particular shop. In fact, its origins date back to the second half of the 1800s. Opened by the Foscarini company (1869-1899) as a shop specializing in the sale of food products. A short period of the Penasa company continued (1899-1901) then the Guarnieri company (1901-1948). The epochal turning point comes with the legendary management of the Calore Ottorino 0498750541 company and the Pinton Sergio company 0498750541 which consolidates the imprint of a shop of excellence and quality in the city.

The adventure continues...

Since 2017 the shop has been managed "DaiDue" by Roberto Pettenello and Michele Dal Santo who, after decades of activity in the food sector, take over the leadership from Sergio Pinton before fate led to the definitive closure of the shop.

In respect of tradition, and with attention to modern needs and developments, the Two reorganize the activity and the qualitative proposal, inserting a constant research of the products and always availability and customer service as a reference point. Today, the shop is always a small reality proud to observe the canons of the specialized shop.
